Frequently asked questions

To edit your profile:

  1. Log in to your Facebengal account
  2. Click on your profile picture (top menu)
  3. Select Profile Settings
  4. Update your name, bio, profile photo, or cover photo
  5. Click Save Changes

⚠️ Some profile details may be visible to other users based on your privacy settings.

Usernames are unique on Facebengal and may have limits on changes.

  • Go to My Account Settings → Edit Account → Change Username
  • Then put Current password New User name and Save
  • If username editing is enabled, you will see an option to change it
  • If not available, usernames may be locked for security or identity reasons

⚠️ Changing your username may affect:

  • Profile links
  • Mentions by other users

To change your email:

  1. Go to My Account Settings → Edit Account → Change Email
  2. Then put Current password  New E-Mail address and Save
  3. Enter your new email address
  4. Verify the email using the confirmation link sent to you

📩 If you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder.

To change your password:

  1. Go to My Account  Profile → Edit Account Change Password
  2. Then put Current password  New password Confirm new password
  3. Set a new strong password
  4. Save changes

🔒 Tip: Use a password you don’t use anywhere else.

  1. Go to the Login page
  2. Click Forgot Password
  3. Enter your registered email
  4. Follow the reset link sent to your email

If you don’t receive the email within a few minutes:

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Make sure the email address is correct

To manage notifications:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Notifications
  2. Choose what you want to receive:
    • Likes & comments
    • New followers
    • Space activity
    • Email notifications
  3. Save your preferences

You can turn notifications on or off anytime.

  1. Go to  My Account → Profile → Edit Account
  2. Select Delete Account
  3. Read the warning carefully
  4. Confirm deletion

  • This action is irreversible
  • Your posts, comments, and profile will be removed permanently

If you’re unable to access your Facebengal account, try the following steps:

  1. Make sure you’re using the correct email address or username
  2. Check that Caps Lock is off when entering your password
  3. Click Forgot Password on the login page and reset your password
  4. Check your email inbox and spam folder for the reset link

If you still can’t access your account after resetting your password, contact our support team for assistance.

    Yes. You can follow or interact with other members based on their profile and privacy settings.

    Private messaging availability depends on user and platform settings.
    Always follow community guidelines while communicating with others.

    If a member is bothering you, you can block them from their profile.
    Blocking prevents further interaction between you and that member.

    When you block a member:

    • They can no longer interact with you
    • You won’t see their content
    • They won’t be notified that they were blocked
